DAGAMBA and Aija Andrejeva Collaborate in Captivating New Single 'Pār Karstām Galvām Krīt Sniegs'

The latest song merges DAGAMBA’s distinctive rock energy with the elegance of classical music, enhanced by Aija Andrejeva’s powerful vocals, which bring a special emotional richness. Poet Marts Pujāts crafted the lyrics, and Valters Pūce composed the music. The piece also features a motif from Mozart’s “Lacrimosa,” imparting a touching and nearly magical ambiance.
“I composed the music to seamlessly blend with the overall Mozartallica aesthetic and concert theme. The inspiration and motifs drawn from Mozart’s work infuse the song with a sense of melancholy and a hint of magic. We had been eager to work with Aija for a long time, and this project finally felt like the perfect opportunity. Her energy and voice complement this sound beautifully. I would also like to express my gratitude to Marts Pujāts for the song’s poetic lyrics,” says Valters Pūce, founder of DAGAMBA.

Accompanied by the Latvian National Symphony Orchestra, the group will deliver a distinctive concert program that blends classical masterpieces with iconic rock anthems, original compositions, and new arrangements, marking the most ambitious DAGAMBA concert experience ever presented.
